Baker Early College operates on a trimester system that coincides with the college terms. We enroll new students to begin each fall and winter term, as well as at second semester.

Applications for the ’26–’27 school year are open now

  • 9th Grade Cohort Deadline — May 1st
  • 10th-12th Grade Fall Term Deadline — May 1st
    • For students planning to take college courses directly through one of our partner colleges.
  • Dual Credit Deadline — September 15th
    • These courses are taught by BEC teachers and award both high school and college credit.
    • If a 10th-11th grade student applies after May 1st, is the only available option for the upcoming fall term is Dual Credit.

Here’s how the 10th-12th grade admissions process works:

    Work with Kimberly on placement testing and community college registration.

    Complete the SchoolMint registration forms.

    Meet with your counselor to choose classes and build a schedule.

    Attend a new-student orientation with Cathi Von, our Student & Family Support Coordinator.
